Maddy George
Maddy is a highly experienced physiotherapist with advanced clinical skills and a warm, knowledgeable and supportive approach to practice. She is proficient and adept at getting to the root of even the most complex and persistent of movement problems and pain presentations. Through a combination of hands-on treatment, pain modulation therapies and targeted rehabilitation techniques, Maddy will work closely with you to help you overcome any obstacles along the way to recovery. She will listen to your story and your concerns and plan your treatment around your goals and your lifestyle.
A mum of two sporty teenagers (and a goldendoodle called Arlo) and with years of specific experience in adolescent sports and growth related conditions, Maddy is passionate about supporting the teen/ young adult cohort to keep doing what they love doing. She has worked extensively with individuals of all ages experiencing widespread pain related to hypermobility, fibromyalgia or arthritis, and is highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of any persistent spinal or joint pain which has been difficult to address for any reason before. She is trained to teach Clinical Pilates, has much experience in managing pregnancy/ postnatal MSK pain. She is able to provide acupuncture for pain and wellbeing alongside all her treatments.
Maddy has 25 years of varied and extensive NHS clinical experience in Cambridgeshire and London, with varied private practice work alongside. When not at the clinic, Maddy enjoys the peace of being outdoors in nature and the fun of being active with friends and family (and Arlo of course).
