Physiotherapist
(PT, DPT, OCS, MCSP)
Dave Smith
Dave’s journey into physiotherapy began on the American football field. As a high school athlete, a knee injury could have sidelined him for good—but thanks to the power of physiotherapy, he was able to recover, return to the game, and move pain-free. This experience sparked his passion for helping others regain their mobility and strength.
In 2016, Dave qualified as a physiotherapist, earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from The George Washington University. He further advanced his expertise by achieving Board Certification in Orthopaedics in 2020 through the American Physical Therapy Association.
Since then, Dave has gained extensive experience working in private clinics across the USA, treating a wide range of conditions and helping people from all walks of life. He has also played a key role in educating future physiotherapists, serving as a faculty member in an orthopaedic residency programme and as an adjunct lecturer for a Doctor of Physical Therapy programme.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys staying active—whether he’s lifting weights, playing basketball, or enjoying a game of ultimate frisbee. He also loves cooking, reading, and travelling with his wife and dog.
